Type Locality and Naming

A large part of the Lochkovian stage in sections of all three Obisafit, Turkparidin, and Chakyklalyan type sections is formed by the upper sub-suite of the Arg Fm

Fossils

with remains of tabulate corals Pachyfavosites kozlowskii Sok.; rugose corals Chavsakia, chavsakiensis Lavrus., Holmophyllum taltiense Nikol.; brachiopods Lissatrypa alexandrina Nikif., characteristic of the Kunjak horizon (Lochkovian stage).
